  • Personal Data you give to us voluntarily. The Personal Data collected and stored about you will be used to respond to your inquiries when you contact us or to send you our newsletters when you sign up to receive them and where you have consented to be contacted for such purpose. Your Personal Data will also be used to create your ID, process your membership, event participation, donations, participate in the chat/networking forum, apply for jobs or internships in the Career Service Center, and keep you informed about upcoming events.
  • Personal Data we collect automatically about you. We use it to ensure that the content from our Website is presented most effectively for you, administer our Website, and perform internal statistical and trend analysis to improve the user experience and performance of our Website.

No automated or profiling-based decision-making would be performed.

USE OF GOOGLE MAPS

We use Google Maps on our Website. Google Maps is a service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

The Google Maps plug-in is included by embedding the service on our Website using what is known as iFrames. When loading these iFrames, under certain circumstances, Google may collect and process information (including personal data such as your location). We cannot exclude the possibility that Google may also transmit this information to a server in a different country.

We do not collect any data when you use Google Maps through our Website.

The purpose of having Google Maps on our Website is to display our address and make further information available to you by providing access routes to the respective locations.

PERSONAL DATA RETENTION

We will endeavor to keep your Personal Data accurate and up-to-date and retain and process it for as long as necessary for the specified purposes. You may request to modify any erroneous, inaccurate, misleading, or incomplete Personal Data.

The Personal Data you submit under the “Contact Us” form will be stored in our databases in anonymized format for one year only and will be automatically deleted afterward.

Also, the information we collect from you for our newsletter subscription will be deleted once you unsubscribe.

We have no impact on the duration for which data held by social network operators are stored for their own purposes. For details, please refer directly to the privacy Notice of the social network you are using.

 

PERSONAL DATA TRANSFER AND SHARING

The Website is maintained by SABIS Educational Services S.A.L., while it is hosted in the Microsoft Azure Cloud, Europe, where the Website and related database are stored. Therefore, your Personal Data will be stored in an anonymized format in Microsoft Azure Cloud, Europe.

 

DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTIES WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE PREVIOUS CLAUSE

We will not share your Personal Data with third parties without first obtaining your informed consent. However, when using the Career Service Center, your Personal Data will be shared with the companies where you have chosen to apply for a job vacancy and requested that your personal data be transferred to them. Additionally, for some events, we may share your Personal Data with the organizers. Authorized employees of SABIS Educational Services S.A.L., which provides technical support for the website, may access your data for technical support purposes.

Furthermore, the payment functionalities on the Website are provided by Areeba. To execute the payment, your Personal Data will be shared with Areeba.
