Mariam Ibrahim, class of 2014, has been lately covered by CNN during Global Grad Show for creating and designing the hospital attire "Hale". Her advanced garment is fitted with sensors to monitor temperature, blood pressure, and oxygen, which can all be transmitted via smartphone app. Her sensor-connected design has been also featured in exhibitions in Egypt, Jordan, and Dubai.
