Dr. Amer M. Alame, class of 1997, was appointed as president of the medical staff at Beaumont Hospital in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, after being elected by his colleagues at the hospital which includes over 800 fellow doctors. Dr. Alame stated that he's really just humbled by how much support he received from a lot of physicians and that he was raised in a culture where hard work is rewarded.
