Emily Nasrallah, God rest her soul, a graduate of the International School of Choueifat – Choueifat in 1951, proved that women are taking the world by storm, present or not.
The Issam Fares Hall at the American University of Beirut was filled with innovators, intellectuals, media professionals, university professors, and the late novelist’s family literature who received the postal stamp issued by the Ministry of Culture, bearing a cartoon of "Birds of September".
Emily's new book "Al Makan" was released by Dar Konboz; a book that was published after her death. The book launching was attended by a delegation from the International School of Choueifat – Choueifat which included the principal, Mr. Ghassan Abdel Baki, Ms. Lina Fayed, and the alumni club represented by Ms. Hana Abu Khadra Salem, Ms. Zeina Abou Zelof, and Ms. Olfat Al Sabeh.
