SABIS Talks 2022-2023

As part of our continuous SABIS Talks program that joins alumni from different fields sharing their experience and knowledge with our high school students, the 2022-2023 AY included talks from Lynn Moghrabi ('20) who addressed University paraphernalia and taught our students how o write a professional CV, what information to include in a cover letter, and how to write an exemplary college essay. Lynn guided the students on all they need to learn when it comes to applying to jobs and universities, and will shared information about the different scholarships offered at AUB.

Ashraf Abi Said ('20) addressed our students about the gaming industry and its importance to culture, entertainment and technological advancement. They joined Ashraf in a fun interactive SABIS Talks session where he showed how Artists, Musicians, Engineers, Architects, Writers, Developers, Storytellers, Economists, Historians, and literally anyone interested in creating interactive media can have a job in the gaming industry.

Kun Hadi had a special SABIS Talks session with our seniors about Road driving and Road safety. As a tribute to our Alumna Reem Abdul Sater ('15) who we had tragically lost in a car accident in August of 2022; Mrs. Lena Gebrane had a heart-to-heart talk with our students about driving risks, rules, and regulations, and educated them on safe driving in Lebanon. 

All SABIS Talks sessions were broadcasted among all 4 SABIS Schools in Lebanon.
