SABIS® Alumni Gala Dinner

For the first time ever, on December 27, 2018, alumni from ISC-Choueifat, SABIS® Adma, and ISC-Koura gathered at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beirut for the biggest reunion to date. Over 450 attended from all three campuses, including SABIS® board members, - Mr. Carl Bistany ‘71, Mr. Victor Saad ‘86, Mr. Ralph Bistany ‘01, and Mr. Mehdi Kanso ‘95 – SABIS® Alumni Association board members – Mrs. Hana Abu Khadra Salem ‘73, Maitre Hassan Keshli ‘98, Dr. Toufic Eid ‘76, Mrs. Rima Saab ‘79, Mrs. Olfat Sabeh ’75, and Mr. Marc Daou ’97, SABIS® administrators, and teachers from all three campuses. Alumni began the night mingling and reminiscing with old classmates and their teachers, then proceeded to the venue for the main event. The Gala Dinner was hosted by no one other than Rami Zeidan ‘00. Initiated with the Lebanese National Anthem, the evening included speeches from the Alumni Association President, Mrs. Hana Abu Khadra Salem, SABIS® board member and Alumni Association Vice President, Mr. Victor Saad, testimonials from Mr. Bayan Rafeh ‘97, Emil Mouawad ’06, and Roy Beiruti ’15. The evening proceeded with performances by talented students and alumni from all three campuses and was complemented with a four-course dinner. The performances had a wide variety of talents from singing to dancing, dabke, and violin and accordion medleys. After the exquisite performances, all attendees stood and raised their candles as a sign of legacy, appreciation, and pride in unity with SABIS® to the song “You Raise Me Up.” The night continued with laughter, amusement, dancing, and a cake. The cake was cut by the board members, as Ramy Ayach, husband of an ISC-Choueifat alumni, Dalida Ayach, performed while everyone else danced the night away.
