ISCAA Elections 2019

On the 22nd of June, 2019, the ISCAA board member elections took place at the Alumni Club House. Keen camaraderie with a dash of competitive eagerness was sensed throughout the electoral process. Candidates were overflowing with emotions.

As they reminisced about the good old days, they grew more eager to express their dedication to their beloved school and become loyal members of the Alumni Association; in the end, they were competing for only 7 board member seats and the competition was highly spirited.

After one round of voting, the new ISCAA board was announced to consist of Dr. Toufic Eid ‘76, President; Maître Hassan Keshli ‘98, Vice President; Amr Salam ‘72, Secretary; Ghina Annan ‘06, Treasurer; Elie Hanna ‘91, Member; Tarek Zebian ‘01, Member; Mirna Sibai ‘95, Member. However, the elections day was not only limited to the voting process, as a lot of alumni deemed this day a perfect opportunity to reunite with their classmates and muse over old memories. They also enjoyed a delicious buffet in the garden amidst a vibrant environment of alumni and student art work.

The multi-generational presence at the elections reflected the ISC alumni’s devotion to the school’s legacy and the commitment to preserve its continuity.
